International - Nagarkot

Nagarkot is 32 kilometres east of Kathmandu, on the northeast edge of the Valley at an elevation of 2,175m. Nagarkot is one of the best spots in Nepal for mountain viewing. It offers views of Dhaulagir in the west to Kanchenjunga in the east. On a clear sunny day, one can even see Mount Everest. Other mountains can be viewed from Nagarkot include: Manaslu (8,463m), Ganesh Himal (7,111m), and Langtang (7,246m).
