Mannarsala Nagaraja Temple is an ancient snake worshipping temple nestled in a forest region. The temple is located about three kilometers to the north-east of the bus station in N.H.47 at Haripad. Mannarsala temple is the largest snake worshipping temple in kerala with more than 30000 images of snakes. Women praying for fertility offer Nurum Palum here, a special offering to Nagaraja. A turmeric paste preparing here is said to have curative powers. The temple is approximately 115 km from Cochin International Airport and 125 km from Thiruvananthapuram International Airport.
