Varanasi has a palpable sense of quaintness that words fail to describe. Being home to numerous temples and religious places, Varanasi is the sacred place for Hindus, Jains and Budhists. The culture of Varansi is closely intermingled with River Ganges. Varanasi is also known as Banaras and Kashi.
