Located on the banks of the river Cauvery, Trichy is the fourth largest city in Tamil Nadu. Trichy offers a consummate mix of tradition and modernity. It used to be a great citadel at the time of cholas and the city is built around Rock Fort. Rock Fort remains the favorite destination of tourists in Trichy.
